Ecofish is Proud to Announce a Staff Publication in the Journal of People and Nature

We are proud to announce the latest publication of Dr. Morgan Hocking featured in the journal of People and Nature: “Indigenous peoples’ habitation history drives present-day forest biodiversity in British Columbia’s coastal temperate rainforest.”

Co-authored by Julia Fisher,   Nancy Shackelford, Andrew Trant, and  Brian Starzomski, they examined  “long‐term impacts of human resource‐use on British Columbia’s coastal rainforest communities…focusing  on the region’s widespread habitation sites…to test the legacy of ancient human occupation in present‐day plant communities.”
